Drove down to the express bus stop, because I was running late didn’t feel like taking the local downtown. It really isn’t that far from home but I do get tired of taking the local to work.

A fairly nice morning but warm. Then again, springs and autumns simply aren’t as cold as they once were. Anybody who can read the weather records can see the slow Β but steady rise in average temperatures in the Albany area. Very warm tonight – it may break the record for the highest low temperature recorded tonight. Uncomfortable sleeping for sure.Β

Traffic light at Washington and Western is malfunctioning but after like five minutes it finally turned green. I ended up driving in yesterday after I missed the bus which was running a bit early after meeting with my insurance agent to discuss my coverage.

Went to Walmart on the way home to pick up a windshield wiper blade to replace the passenger side blade to improve the view for the dash cam and so I can pass inspection next month. The old one was shredded rubber. Blade didn’t fit. I think the packaging was wrong at Walmart. I had to return. Ended up going to AutoZone and buying one for twice the price. Not a fancy winter blade but still a little more high end and fancy compared to the driver side. As long as it clears the windshield well. Driving more for work, it’s important I can see well on rainy days. Refilled the windshield washer reservior. Dropped a bottle of windshield washer fluid on the ground and the cap shattered but it did not spill. I guess I can take the empty bottle out from the recycle bin and use the cap from that.

Finished cleaning out my truck and putting away my camping gear. Continuing to pack for my work trip. Finished washing down the kitchen. Refrigerator is the cleanest in years. Looks pretty good now. Things are also are getting done on the cleaning front in the bathroom and kitchen. Making good progress.
