I went for my evening walk after going down to the library. It is a pleasant evening, and I knew if I went to the library, I’d be up and going to my walk. Quite mild this evening and the stars are decent. Tired though, but I realized I would be able to do my walk this weekend with bitter cold expected.
Screwing around with data.ny.gov, I discovered I could make beautiful maps of retail grocery stores based on an Ag and Markets dataset. I decided to make a map of the 322 Stewart’s Shops that are located in New York State, primarily in the eastern half of upstate. It’s a really cool map. There are 49 Stewart’s Shops in Saratoga County alone, followed by 37 Stewart’s Shops in Albany County. Lots of places to buy milk and get gas. Cool stuff.
I hope you had a good day. Mine was a bit rough around the edges but things will get better as the week progresses or so I tell myself. Sleep well!
