Why do they keep stealing New York State interstate numbers for completely different highways in other states? No other state has had their interstate highway numbers reused like New York State. I 84 – Oregon, Idaho, Utah I 86 – Idaho I 87 – North Carolina I 88 – Illinois What is even more obnoxious is that they still have unused interstate numbers, I 1, I 3, I 6, I 7, I 13, I 92 and I 98 don’t exist.
