July 21, 2019 Morning

Good morning! Happy Sunday. Exactly one week of vacation left. Six weeks to the last Sunset Before 7:30 PM 🌆. Autumn is coming, but first I should enjoy summer. Sunny and nice and 75 degrees at the Finger Lakes National Forest. 🌞There is a north-northwest breeze at 15 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 70 degrees. With the breeze, you don’t really feel the humidity, laying back in the hammock.

Today will have a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny ☀, with a high of 86 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 71 at 11am. Northwest wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. The high last year was 84 degrees. The record high of 101 was set in 1930.

On this day in 1925, Dayton, Tennessee high school biology teacher John T. Scopes is found guilty of teaching evolution in class and fined $100. 🙊 Darn criminals ruining our country. 👮 The judge incorrectly set the fine, rather then letting the jury do it, so his conviction was overturned on appeal. The law would remain on the books until it was repealed 1967. Also in 1983, the world’s lowest temperature in an inhabited location is recorded at Vostok Station, Antarctica at −89.2 °C (−128.6 °F). ❄They should build a pipe and send it up north to cool off people efficiently. Probably doesn’t follow the laws of thermodynamics.

The sun will set at 8:38 pm with dusk around 9:10 pm, which is 50 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌇 At sunset, look for partly cloudy skies 🌃 and temperatures around 77 degrees. The dew point will be 65 degrees. There will be a north-northwest breeze at 7 mph. Today will have 14 hours and 48 minutes of daytime, an increase of one minute and 45 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy 🌥, with a low of 65 degrees at 5am. Three degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 67 at 6pm. West wind 3 to 7 mph. In 2018, we had mostly clear skies in the evening, which became cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It became sticky as the night progressed. It got down to 64 degrees. The record low of 47 occurred back in 1970.

So far summer vacation is going fairly well, 🏊 although I was very disappointed that the swim beach at Cayuga Lake at Taughannock Falls was closed due blue green algea pollution. First time that’s happened while I’ve been coming here in the summer. I ended up going to Robert Treman State Park and swimming in Enfield Glen. It turned out to be a nice afternoon with lots of sun and despite traffic delays getting in past the park gates. It’s obnoxious that they charge park fees in New York. 67 degrees in the water which is remarkably warm for Enfield Glen.

I also stopped at Montezuma for a while but it was incredibly hot. 🐦 There was some wildlife, especially butterflies but it was oppressively hot after coming out of my well air conditioning truck. Plus I was looking forward to the beach. The beach closure was such a disappointment.

But the flip side is I did get the campsite I really like on Chicken Coop Road 🐥 so I’m here through Wednesday morning. I set up a tent for my surplus gear and dirty clothes, ⛺ and the flags, hammock and table. I set up camp relatively slowly and it got dark fairly early as some clouds pushed in.

I laid back in the hammock until quarter to ten, and then went for a walk to Foster Pond 🐸 to watch the moon rise 🎑. I figured it would be cool to watch the moon rise fifty years after the moon landing. Unfortunately I waited until 11:20, but it didn’t rise until later. I ended up walking back to camp 🚶after which it rose. But it was buggy and I was worried 😯 about getting caught in a thunderstorm. ⚡ That was kind of obnoxious. But it was a nice night back at Foster Pond with lots of fireflies 🐝 and stars ✨ with flashes of lightning ⚡ in the distance.

I got back to camp, cracked open another beer 🍻 and had a small fire 🔥 mostly to burn up the garbage and just watch the flames. I got to stop throwing the sweet corn husks and cobs on the other camp trash, 🌽 they don’t burn well. What was supposed to be nice fire a stinky mess of smoldering plastic and food waste. Yuck. Maybe I should have built a hotter fire 🔥 with more wood. Instead going forward I’ll toss the husks and food waste 🍲 in the bucket shitter 💩 and bury them in the woods when I break camp. They’ll rot away pretty good. I know when I own my off-grid home, 🏡 I’ll definitely want to do lots of composting – at least mixing the food waste with animal manure rather than burning it with the trash in the pit. Plus rather then becoming air pollution it will become fertilizer. 🌺

I had a nice breakfast of eggs and sausage this morning 🍳, and I’ve been sitting in the hammock enjoying the breeze. I got some firewood but I should grab some more before I head out to swimming in Watkins Glen 🏊. I fear 😱 the nice weather may not last all day so I probably should think about heading out, maybe around noon. 👍I’m on vacation so I’m in no rush. That said, tomorrow doesn’t look great so I’ll probably hang out in camp. Going to be cool and gray tomorrow, I might stay close to camp, instead just hiking around in the National Forest. Also going to get something good at the Watkins Glen Dairy bar.

I’m planning to stay in the Finger Lakes through Wednesday morning then will head to Allegany County on Wednesday. Thursday I might either go up to Letchworth State Park or maybe Cattaraugus County and then the Allegheny National Forest. ⛺ While I have a camping permit for the Tioga State Forest in Penna for three nights, I doubt I’ll stay more than two.

One month 📅 from now the State Fair Opens 🎡 when the sun will be setting at 7:59 pm with dusk at 8:28 pm. The average high temperature is 80 degrees.

 Helldiver Pond

June 7, 2019 Night

Good evening! Mostly clear and 69 degrees in Delmar, NY. There is a west-northwest breeze at 7 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 48 degrees. Nice evening, fairly mild but not humid. It wouldn’t have been a bad thing to head up north but it’s kind of nice no having to deal with traffic or setting up camp.

After a busy day at work, it was nice reading down at the park until around 8:15 when some kind of pool party got started at the pool and they were playing music. 🎶 So I decided to walk home. Been reading more of the Richard Hofstadter book 📙 I was reading last night.

Sitting out back watching a movie about life up in Alaska mainly because I discovered this Alaska Off Grid channel online and its interesting to watch. 📹 Beautiful country for sureThe bugs were bad tonight until I put on a little DEET. I also was watching Wrangler Star try to burn out a stump quite unsuccessfully.

Tonight will be clear 🌃, with a low of 53 degrees at 5am. One degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around June 5th. Maximum dew point of 50 at 11pm. Northwest wind 3 to 7 mph. In 2018, we had mostly clear skies. It got down to 58 degrees. The record low of 38 occurred back in 1951.

Tonight will have a Waxing Crescent Moon 🌒 with 37% illuminated with the moon setting at 12:29 am. The moon will set at 1:00 am. The First Quarter Moon is on Sunday night with a mostly cloudy then chance of showers skies. The Strawberry Moon 🌝 is on Sunday, June 16th. The sun will rise at 5:17 am with the first light at 4:43 am, which is 16 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌄 Tonight will have 8 hours and 46 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 52 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will be sunny 🌞, with a high of 81 degrees at 4pm. Five degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 26th. But not a drop out humidity. Maximum dew point of 49 at 7am. North wind 7 to 9 mph. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies in the morning with a few breaks of sun the afternoon. The high last year was 80 degrees. The record high of 93 was set in 2011.

Tomorrow I plan to volunteer in the National Trails Day 🚶then maybe hike up Bennett Hill before going out to my parents house for Sunday dinner on Saturday. Going to a beautiful, low humidity day for sure.

Looking ahead to Sunday, sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. Maximum dew point of 53 at 7pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 76 degrees.

Sunday I’ll probably do the Gas Up 🚜 and then go shopping and wash my truck. Maybe go over to John Wolcott’s house but we’ll see. Only so many hours in the day. I want to have time to prepare things at home for a busy week at work that’s coming up.

I’m on call this weekend 📞 and I may have to work next weekend but so be it. Still twelve weekends until Labor Day Weekend so lots of summer is left. I might do more long weekends this summer for camping rather than just weekend trips all of the time, so fewer packing and unpacking but more nights in the wilderness. ⛺ I’m tired of the same adventures every day, looking to do new and different things this summer while keeping within my fairly constrained but future focused budget. 💸

In four weeks on July 5 the sun will be setting at 8:36 pm,🌄 which is 5 minutes and 5 seconds later then tonight. In 2018 on that day, we had hot, humid, mostly sunny, thunderstorm and temperatures between 92 and 75 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 82 and 61 degrees. The record high of 99 degrees was set back in 1919.

Looking ahead, Flag Day 🇺🇸 is in 1 weeks, Dog Days of Summer 🌻 is in 4 weeks, Labor Day Weekend Begins 👨‍🏭 is in 12 weeks and Columbus Day 🛥️ is in 4 months.

I should get to bed early as I need to get an early start tomorrow for the trail work day, 🔨 followed by some hiking later on.

Sunday

June 5, 2019 Night

Good evening! Rain and 70 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☔ Calm wind. The dew point is 61 degrees. First real summer night for sure. Long day at work, I ended up taking the nine o’clock home. 🏡

I really like how they have displayed the pride flag over the Capitol 🏳️‍🌈 in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Stonewell Rebellion. Certainly in some ways society has come so far in the past half century, even if in other parts like race relationships or even the rural urban divide we’ve made a lot less progress. Too much of society is about our own tribes and forcing our will over other tribes, too little is about mutual respect for diversity and people different than ourselves. Later in the week I want to bring in my high resolution camera and get a picture of the flag. It’s really a beautiful flag, especially when blue skies return.

Tonight will have showers likely before 11pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 11pm and 3am, then showers likely after 3am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 🌧 Low of 64 degrees at 5am. Eight degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 63 at 1am. 🏖️ Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible. In 2018, we had cloudy skies in the evening, which became partly cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 48 degrees. The record low of 38 occurred back in 1971.

Tonight will have a Waxing Crescent Moon 🌒 with 17% illuminated. The moon will rise at 8:24 am. The First Quarter Moon is on Sunday night. The Strawberry Moon 🌝 is on Sunday, June 16th. The sun will rise at 5:18 am with the first light at 4:43 am, which is 20 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌄 Tonight will have 8 hours and 48 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 59 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will have a chance of showers, mainly before 2pm. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing 🌦, with a high of 76 degrees at 5pm. One degree above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 7th. Pretty close to summer weather. Maximum dew point of 63 at 7am. Light and variable wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. A year ago, we had light rain in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. The high last year was 72 degrees. The record high of 94 was set in 1925.

A picture perfect weekend on tap. 😎 Saturday, sunny, with a high near 78. Maximum dew point of 51 at 8am. Sunday, sunny, with a high near 80. Maximum dew point of 56 at 6pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 76 degrees. Definitely going to try to maximize the weekend even if I’m not heading out of town to camp. Hopefully this nice weather will be back for a second round the following weekend.

Sail Boat

May 17, 2019 Night

Good evening! Mostly clear and 58 degrees in Delmar. 🌃There is a west-northwest breeze at 14 mph. 🍃 with gusts up to 24 mph 💨💨💨. The dew point is 46 degrees. It’s a pleasant evening but somewhat of a breeze.

Bought some groceries and supplies, went for my walk 🚶 then sat out back with the laptop for a while working on some school 🚸 budget maps. I did forget to buy a big bottle of dandruff shampoo, the last one I bought lasted nearly a year. It’s a very big bottle and quite affordable to boot. Less plastic waste. ♻

Tonight will be mostly clear 🌃, with a low of 48 degrees at 5am. Typical for tonight. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. In 2018, we had mostly clear skies. It got down to 51 degrees. The record low of 29 occurred back in 1981. Wouldn’t have been a bad night for camping had I not had the Lupine Festival. ⛺ Maybe we will have weather this nice next week.

Tonight will have a 🌕 with 99% illuminated. The moon will set at 5:38 am. The 🌕 will be tonight with a chance of showers. The sun will rise at 5:30 am with the first light at 4:57 am, which is 58 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌄 Tonight will have 9 hours and 16 minutes of darkness, a decrease of one minute and 57 seconds over last night.

The record high of 94 was set in 2017. 2.2 inches of snow fell back in 2002.❄

Going to be a nice day tomorrow for the Lupine Festival. I better bring some sunscreen 😎 as it will be bright and sunny. I got the handouts at the copy store 🏬 and I’m ready to go for tomorrow.

Looking ahead to Sunday, a slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny,☀ with a high near 80. South wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Maximum dew point of 61 at 4pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 70 degrees.

Warm but possibly quite nice on Sunday. I’ll have to see what it’s like before making any decisions. I hear it could be the first real humid day of the year although nothing like mid summer. 🏊

In four weeks on June 14 the sun will be setting at 8:34 pm,🌄 which is 21 minutes and 31 seconds later then tonight. Farm Up on Cole Hill

May 14, 2019 Night

Good evening! No need to repeat the weather conditions except to say I needed my umbrella on the way home and it’s around 43 degrees ☔ There is a northwest breeze at 6 mph. 🍃. Rain and more rain. At least I work indoors but it doesn’t make the weather any less depressing. 😔 The Youtube farm channels I follow show a lot of muddy livestock, and farmers frustrated that they can’t get out in the fields.

Very busy day today at work, 💼 I got home around 8:45 after taking the 8:15 home. Hopefully in five weeks when the legislative session wraps down it won’t be so crazy at work and I’ll be able to get home by 5:45 most nights and then I can go to the park with a book.📔 Between work and the wet, rainy nights, I’ve only been out once night so far this year reading. But it’s also been a particularly crazy year this year at work.😫

I made up some pasta with tuna fish and mayo. 🐠 Simple, easy inexpensive meal. I also don’t have a lot of choices at home right now for food although fortunately tomorrow is the Pine Bush Dinner. 🌲Been so busy I kind of totally forgot about it all. I got to work on the Pine Bush display for Saturday on Thursday night. I am really running low on veggies at home,🌽🍅 I guess I could open up some canned stuff. 🥫

Tonight will rain before midnight, then a chance of showers, mainly between midnight and 2am. Patchy fog between 4am and 5am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy 🌧, with a low of 38 degrees at 5am. Nine degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around April 18th. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. In 2018, we had mostly clear skies. It became sticky as the night progressed. It got down to 56 degrees. The record low of 31 occurred back in 1977.

Tonight will have a Waxing Gibbous Moon 🌔 with 90% illuminated. The moon will set at 4:05 am. The Flower 🌸 Moon 🌕 is on Friday night wait for it…..scattered showers. The sun will rise at 5:33 am with the first light at 5:01 am, which is one minute and 2 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌄 Tonight will have 9 hours and 22 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 4 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will be partly sunny 🌞, with a high of 63 degrees at 3pm. Six degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around April 27th. Northwest wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Despite the sun, it will feel cold. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. The high last year was 77 degrees. The record high of 93 was set in 1900.

I have to think things are going to end badly with Trump’s tariffs 🌎but only time will tell. I feel like a recession might be better for me in the short term and maybe for the country as a whole as it leads people to be more cautious and makes buying into the markets more affordable. That said the Trump supporters are not wrong when they say the tarrifs are a relatively small tax compared to the many others out there, the economy is very healthy and inflation is very low. 💣 I’m ready to see what happens as it may lead to a lot of re thinking about economics.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of Trump and I think a lot of his thinking and policies don’t correspond with reality. 💭 That said I’m hardly enthusiastic about the national democrats and if anything I’m looking at third party candidates for president. I voted for Bernie in the primary in 2016 but I’d hardly call myself an enthusiastic supporter of him and less so in 2020. I do like Trump’s first appointment to the Supreme Court and his tax cut but at least I wish he would acknowledge that climate change is problematic and getting worse and that we should be an international leader not a bully.

A picture perfect weekend on tap. 😎 Saturday, mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Maximum dew point of 46 at 6am. Sunday, partly sunny, with a high near 72. Maximum dew point of 53 at 2pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 70 degrees.

Maybe Sunday I’ll have to think about doing some hiking somewhere. 🚶 Not too far from home though as Memorial Day Weekend if it’s nice 😆 I plan to head north. But I know that’s unlikely. It will probably rain and be cold unless there are thousands of black flies.

In four weeks on June 11 the sun will be setting at 8:33 pm,🌄 which is 23 minutes and 13 seconds later then tonight. In 2018 on that day, we had mostly sunny and temperatures between 78 and 55 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 77 and 55 degrees. The record high of 94 degrees was set back in 1947.

Orange, Red, White Tulips

May 3, 2019 Night

Good evening! Light rain and 55 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☔ There is a south breeze at 5 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 52 degrees. The skies will clear Sunday around 11 pm. Just for the end of the weekend.

I got home, had dinner and rode the exercise bike for a while 🚲, almost an hour and a half. I rode while listening to Marketplace through my laptop and the radio adapter, then I watched a YouTube video I had downloaded on orienteering with a compass. For a lot of people that’s quaint with cellphone GPS 🌐 but I know most of the time I’m in the woods I use paper maps and just use visible landmarks to orient myself although sometimes I’ll use the compass but that’s rare. I went for my evening walk 🚶 and it started to rain 💦which meant I got wet on my way home. Then I retired to bed and read 📖 for a while. I’m tired 😴 and going to sleep shortly.

Tonight will have showers likely, mainly between 1am and 3am. Patchy fog before 3am, then patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, cloudy 🌧, with a low of 52 degrees at 6am. Looking Towards the Rapp Road Landfill

March 15, 2019 Morning

Good morning! Happy Ides of March ✝! Good weather today for those friendly strangers cruising in their black sedans with the windows down. Ten weeks until Memorial Day Weekend. Black flies will be here before you know it. 🐜 Cloudy and 54 degrees in Delmar. ☁ Breezy, ️16 mph breeze from the south 🌬 . The dew point is 45 degrees. Temperatures will drop below freezing at tomorrow around 9 pm. ☃️

Nice mild morning, although certainly a little bit damp and cloudy. ☁ I think 💭 the rain ☔ has stopped, but I see more coming on the radar. But didn’t impact my walk down to the express bus.🚶 Caught the express bus 🚍 downtown from the Park and Ride. 🚏Brand new bus, has only 3,000 miles on it according to the driver, probably just from taking delivery. I’ve heard that many of the buses are driven rather than loaded on train to get from California. Gives them a chance break in the engines and buses are so large they’d be expensive freight to ship any other way. ✉ Maybe though I’m wrong. 😕 Some traffic 🚥 delays heading downtown but I get to enjoy the toxic 💀new bus smell.

Finally a nice warm day. I opened the windows this morning to let some fresh air. Not super warm yet but it’s warm enough that the heat hasn’t run for a day now. 🔥 Good for my budget for sure. 💵 As much work as wood heat may be I do like the idea 💡 of spending money on sweat rather than fossil fuels. Eventually I’ll be able to leave the windows open for good. 🍃 I almost thought about hanging out my flag but this morning ain’t that great.

Today will have showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny 🌦, with a high of 64 degrees at 3pm. 20 degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around April 28th. Yeap, it’s going to feel like a late April day. Going to be nice with all that fresh air in the apartment. Maximum dew point of 51 at 11am. South wind 10 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. A year ago, we had partly cloudy in the morning, which became mostly sunny by afternoon. The high last year was 39 degrees. The record high of 72 was set in 1989. Probably not going to break that record. 10.4 inches of snow fell back in 1916.❄ And certainly not that one. 😂

The sun will set at 7:02 pm with dusk around 7:30 pm, which is one minute and 10 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 At sunset, look for clearing skies 🌧 and temperatures around 57 degrees. There will be a west breeze at 8 mph. Today will have 11 hours and 56 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 54 seconds over yesterday.

I put some cold beer in the fridge that I got left over Brooklyn Night. Going to sit out back after work, next to the snow bank and drink 🍻 some beer after work. I might also go for a walk to the park for a while too. I thought about grilling the frozen burger 🍔 I have on my grill but I don’t have any hamburger buns and I’m kind of in a rush to get down to the park ⛲ before dark.

Tonight will have a slight chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy 🌧, with a low of 37 degrees at 6am. 11 degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical night around April 13th. West wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. In 2018, we had mostly clear in the evening, which became partly cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 25 degrees. The record low of 4 occurred back in 1980. I like record lows above freezing.

Today in 44 BC, Julius Caesar, Dictator of the Roman Republic, is stabbed to death by Marcus Junius Brutus, Gaius Cassius Longinus, Decimus Junius Brutus, and several other Roman senators🔪 on the Ides of March. And of course that pop group the Ides of March released their hit single, Vehicle. 🎤🎵📀 Vehicle would go on to be one of the fastest growing pop hits of all times, an immediate success in March and April 1970, well until the Candian Rock Band, The Guess Who released American Women in mid-April, saturating the air play. Vehicle was quickly forgotten about although the oldies stations still play it a lot, because it is kind of a rocking good song. 🎛 Heck, I still like to turn it up, almost 50 years later — and it was an old song when I was born in 1983.

One month 📅 from now will be Tax Day 💰. I filed my taxes, but they got kicked back in the software, as I need to amend something that I made a mistake on. It’s actually good, the mistake is in my favor, not in the governments favor, so I’ll end up paying less. No fine, it’s just I made typo in my reporting which made my adjusted gross income look higher then it actually was. So many numbers you have to enter now that I’ve gotten older and done more on investing for my future.🏡

That said and the lower heating bills are going to be big help. 🔥 I’m really hoping over the next month I will only be using the heat modestly, as it’s now gotten to the point where it’s fairly mild — days in the 30s and 40s are much easier on the heating bills compared to 20s and 30s, especially as I tend to keep my heat set to around 50 in this weather. I can’t wait until the windows can be open for good ⏹ even if it means hot and sticky evenings. Their is cold beverages for that weather.🍹

Tomorrow will be partly sunny 🌞, with a high of 42 degrees at 3pm. Two degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around March 11th. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. A year ago, we had partly cloudy in the morning, which became mostly sunny by afternoon. The high last year was 32 degrees. The record high of 82 was set in 1990. 13.4 inches of snow fell back in 1956.❄ Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind 9 to 14 mph. ☀ Typical average high for the weekend is 44 degrees.

Not totally sure what my weekend plans will be, but I will probably stay in town, maybe go for a walk in the neighborhood. I’m not sure that this point if I am going to head into the city this weekend to keep working on Mr. Wolcott’s files 🗄as the St. Patricks Day parade will tie up things downtown, and Sunday I’m going out hiking. I got to look into the bus schedule more and think 🤔 about it some more.

Still haven’t installed the replacement battery 🔋 into my phone yet. Maybe later on this evening or tomorrow morning. I just want to make sure I can get it fully charged before using it. I just hate how fast things discharge on my phone now. 📱

In four weeks on April 12 the sun will be setting at 7:34 pm,🌄 which is 32 minutes and 7 seconds later then today. In 2018 on that day, we had rain showers, partly cloudy and temperatures between 54 and 29 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 57 and 36 degrees. The record high of 84 degrees was set back in 1977.

Looking ahead, Tax Day 💰 is a month away, Memorial Day Weekend Starts 🏕️ is in 10 weeks and Dog Days of Summer 🌻 is in 16 weeks.
