Taken on Saturday July 24, 2010 at Moose River Plains.One of the most interesting parts of the Wakley Fire Tower, is that the original tower lacked stairs and only had a ladder, as was standard on the lightweight Aermotor LT20 firetowers. The stairs, where also made by Aermotor, and where added in 1919.
