Out on Moss Lake

When I was up in the Adirondacks I went for a paddle on Moss Lake. Not the biggest lake ever, still it was interesting to explore from the water, rather then just the trail.

Fishing on Moss Lake

Moss Lake is a pond located between Big Moose and Inlet, outside of Old Forge in the Western Adirondacks. While I didn't have much luck fishing on this hot summer mid-day, 🎣 it was nice to explore this lake by boat, and soak up some of the sun.

Moss Lake

Moss Lake, outside of Big Moose, has a decent swimming beach, although the water is pretty shallow and when you get out further into the lake, it's quite mossy and gross. But on the shallows of the lake, the sand is nice for wadding out and splashing around. Plus, there are eight quite nice campsites around the lake, along with an old woods road known as the "Moss Lake Circuit Trail".
