Rotterdam Junction
Technically, this is to the east of the village of Rotterdam, but the Thruway - Interstate 890 - Thruway Bridge in Wyatts could be considered a major junction.

I was surprised looking at the assessment records that the hamlet of Rotterdam Junction is newer then I would have thought. Most of the hamlet was built between 1900 and 1950, with many of structures from the turn of century. There also newish subdivison built off of Alexander Drive that was built in 1980-1982 and Ulrich Road that was built in around 1993, with a few luxury houses added in 2003-2004.
A look at Schenectady in 1950s before Interstate 890 bisected the city and Rice Road was the primary way people go to Exit 26 of Thruway.

Lock 9 outside in Rotterdam Junction is not only a dam but also a bridge. Not all Bridge Dams though are actual bridges. See this article from the Canal Society, Bridge Dams on the NYS Barge Canal.
