Good evening! Partly cloudy and 46 degrees in Cicero, NY. There is a northwest breeze at 8 mph. Not a half bad evening, especially with this fairly mild weather. Not as warm as last night, but really not that bad in the grand scheme of things.

It was a pretty busy day but quite entertaining at that. No real disasters but for a good portion of the day, I was swamped with work. Sometimes you just get lucky. And it rained a lot in the morning but by afternoon it cleared out and got quite nice. I still need to get Big Red inspected. Maybe tomorrow if I have more time. This evening though, I did get some new code written up for the blog up.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high of 56 degrees at 3pm. Five degrees below normal. Maximum dew point of 36 at 6am. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. The record high of 81 was set in 1920. Tomorrow will be nothing like 1920, despite what at least one of presidential candidates wants tomorrow to be like.

Going to be a warm and nice autumn weekend. Saturday, patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 66. South wind 5 to 8 mph. Maximum dew point of 42 at 8pm. Sunday, a chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Maximum dew point of 57 at 5pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 60 degrees. Definately good weather to be out and enjoying the fall colors, especially int he lower elevation.

In four weeks on November 10 the sun will be setting at 4:44 pm (Standard Time), which is 1 hour and 38 minutes earlier then tonight. The average high is 50 degrees, and the record for that date is 72 degrees was set back in 1931.

And for those looking at a good turkey, there are only six weeks remaining until Thanksgiving. Where does the time go by so quickly?
