Good morning! Happy Thursday.Β Kind of a rainy start to our morning, aroundΒ 54 degrees in North Syracuse. Β There is a south breeze at 7 mph. The dew point is 51 degrees. The skies will clear around 11 pm. Definitely kind of a rainy day outside, but the rain will stop later on and will clear out for Friday.
The news of Bob Dylan getting the Noble Prize for LiteratureΒ is kind of surprising, but the Noble committee in recent years has gotten more into nominating and approving pop figures. I always liked his song, Like a Rolling stone.
Today will have showers, mainly before noon. We will have a high of 58 degrees at nootime, with temperatures dropping in the afternoon a bit. Three degrees below normal. Maximum dew point of 52 at 10am. South wind 7 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. The record high of 81 was set in 1930.
