November 30, 2015 evening
Good evening on this last day of November. Relatively warm this evening at 34 degrees and partly clear. In a while we will see the Waining Crescent Moon although the moon and stars will fade out as the evening progresses and clouds and ultimately rain comes in for the morning. The low will be around 26 degrees.
The morning is when the weather gets interesting. Sunrise is at 7:05 AM tomorrow. Then a slight chance of freezing rain before 9am, then periods of rain. High near 41. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. A lot depends on the timing tomorrow, but except for the morning rush hour, I don’t expect too much besides rain tomorrow.
The weekend still looks pretty nice. Both days are expected to be sunny with highs in the mid-40s. Regular season comes to an end in the north on Sunday and it’s the second to last week in the Southern Zone. The Adirondacks are still mostly snow free and are likely to stay so at least for two more weeks.
