September 3, 2015 update
Good morning, once again. As we head into the 9 o’clock hour we are now up to 69. The fog is burning off as we work our way towards 87 degrees.
The FM radio feature on my new smartphone is so nice. I forgot how much I missed listing to broadcast radio. It uses a lot less data then Internet streams and the quality is much better. I may have 30 gigs of music on my phone but the radio station has disk jockeys that often pick a better mix then random play. My 64 gigabyte card worked perfectly in the phone once I reformatted it in the phone for VFAT.
24 hours and I will be on my way out of town. Looking forward to spending a nice weekend up in the woods. My ankle is still a lot more sore and weak than I’m willing to admit but it I’m careful and don’t step in any muskrat borrows fishing, I should be good. Heading in via the Inlet entrance to Moose River Plains and will camp either on Rock Dam Road or one of the more isolated campsites in the sandy part of the Plains. Maybe campsite 56 but I got to think about it more.
But other than that it’s another day in the Cesspool then I get to go home and limp around and get packed…
