Happy Friday, Number 2 in March

With the humidity this morning, it certainly feels like summertime. It’s going to be a hazy, humid, and hot weekend. In other words, it will feel like summertime.

It feels weird to be staying in town when the weather is going to be like this but it’s so dry up in the woods and I doubt the Adirondacks have greened up much lately. You would have to be so careful with fire and Piseco-Powley Rd is still closed for a few more weeks.

I have some errands to run in the city on Saturday morning then will go for a springtime walk in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. From there I will head home for lunch and spend the evening fishing in the Hudson River.  Sounds like a decent plan, all things considered.

By next weekend I expect things will be greening up in the Adirondacks. Piseco Powley Rd won’t be open but there are plenty of other places go, including Schoharie County. Might be real pretty out that way. The weekend after that is Memorial Day Weekend.
