Dark morning, warm day ahead ☀️

The weatherman is saying it might reach 80 degrees. Even nicer then yesterday, though today I am working in-person both downtown and in the office in Menands. Wearing shorts and t-shirt in today, and going to definitely be riding.

Maybe not quite as nice of a day as yesterday, 🌅 working the balance of the day at Glimmerglass State Park and then driving home on US 20, with the leaves such great color, with the windows down smelling that ever sweet smell of silage. 🌽 Yum! I didn’t stop for pumpkin 🎃 ice cream 🍦 though the dairy bar outside of Esperence had a big sign for it, and was open and looked pretty darn good.

Should be a nice day to ride into work. Sure I wish I was still out in Madison County or down in West Virigina, but I have in-person meetings today, so I got to be in the office. So be it! 🐮 They pay me for work, and I can’t always be doing stuff remotely. 💻️ 80 degrees days in October is nice but it doesn’t really add much daylight to the day.

Tonight I get my COVID and flu booster. 💉 Getting vaxxed! I remember when this was a big thing, like super patriotic, how they checked off your card ✅ , and you were some kind of patriot. 🇺🇲 You know kind of like of buying an AR-15 but for liberals. But I really did not like that cold I got a few weeks back, 🤧 and I certainly don’t want the COVID or the flu, and the shots are relatively painless. My appointment is at 7 PM, 🌃 it will be dark out by then, but it’s going to be a nice night so I’ll either ride or walk down there. 🚶
