Riding the Hump πŸͺ

So it’s going to be the hottest day of the week a Wednesday – Hump Day! After today, it’s going to be cooler and rainer though it looks like Thursday may be the only day too rainy to ride to work.

Up around 5 AM this morning, as I wanted to get the pot of beans boiling down 🍲 so I could have beans and maple syrup 🍁 as a cool dinner when I got home. I also made up rice and lentils for lunch today and carrot pancakes πŸ₯• πŸ₯ž for breakfast. The morning was pretty cool but it’s warming up quickly.

Yesterday, I went out to Five Rivers in the evening, 🐸 and read for a while, it was a bit buggy out. Not too bad and by later in the evening fairly cool. Got home and went to bed. πŸ› Figure enjoy the nice weather before the rain returns tomorrow, β˜” it was a bit too warm I though to ride the trails at Norman’s Kill Ravine Park. Maybe I’m just not used to the summer heat yet.

Already got 430 miles on the odometer of my bicycle, 🚲 which figuring that it was just turning 275 on Friday, I’ve been riding a lot. It’s good exercise but I really do need to replace that rear tire before I get a flat. I’m just trying to maximize it before I have to dispose of it. I don’t think I’ll be burning that, lol! Rubber stinks! πŸ”₯ πŸ‘ƒ

Still thinking about and looking forward to summer adventures. πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ Pictures of the Potholers continue to pop up in my feed. I’m just waiting for the black flies to be done and for primary day to be over when things are quieter at work. So far I haven’t had a lot of work requests come in over the weekend – – except for that one weekend I was at Duck Pond but I know one of these weekends that will happen. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Really happy that I got the new photo uploaded working on the blog, πŸ“Έ now I just go to take some good pictures and fix the bugs in it. πŸ› You know how that goes, but I should also work on updating some maps and other content – – I really should map those campsites β›Ί that I discovered along Prospect Mountain Road in Vermont and other sites along the Molly Stark Byway. Maybe if I have time today. The photo uploaded isn’t just for photos — it also works with maps. πŸ—Ί
