Over-watering Plants 🌻

Probably it seems like the most common issue people have with plants is they don’t water them enough. I have never had that problem — my bigger issue with my office plants is over-watering them the minute they look a bit dry. It’s better to give them less water, as it strengthens their roots, encourages deeper rooting, and prevents root rot.

I’ve never had issues with plants dying from a lack of water, except during the pandemic when everybody was working from home, but root rot has been a constant problem from over-watering. Sometimes it’s better just let them do the thing — and hold back from watering more then once a week.
