Good Morning – February 1, 2022
Good morning! Happy February π§ !
If you can read this message then you made it to February, shortest month of the year. Only 47 days until spring. π·
Sunny and 10 degrees in Delmar, NY. π Calm wind. There are 3 inches of snow on the ground. β οΈThings will start to thaw out at around 2 pm. π‘οΈ
Honestly, I don’t think it’s that cold out. βοΈ No wind, lots of sun, and temperatures that include two digits are fine in my book. I actually didn’t turn the heat up at all last night and had no problems — I was plenty warm, although I did use the electric blanket on for a while this morning.
But then again I am a bit tired, π€ as I had to go over to the Capitol last night for a couple of hours and then ended up catching the 10:30 home. Then by the time I was in bed, after having a bite to eat, it was 11:15 PM, which is much later then usual. β° But I set my alarm clock later then usual, and amazingly made it out in time for the bus. But I had a quick breakfast, π₯ ironed my shirt π¨πΌ, , showered πΏ and caught the bus. π
Most bus drivers are good. π But since they switched the drivers on January 30th, the one they have on the 8:30 downtown makes me think the standards for getting a CDL have been lately significantly reduced. She’s so slow, she constantly slams on the air brakes in part because it’s like she doesn’t see people at the bus stop or other vehicles on the road, struggles to get through traffic in the city and likes to yell at customers. I can only imagine how bad she will be once it snows on Friday. π¨
