Good morning! Happy October 🎃 !

One month until my favorite month – November. But in the mean time a lot of color although I bet already in parts of the Adirondacks things are past peak.

Sunny and 44 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☀ There is a west-northwest breeze at 5 mph. 🍃.

It’s a stunningly beautiful morning 🌅 with the colors just starting to turn here, deep blue skies and fog rising off the valley where the Vlomans Kill runs in front of the Helderbergs.

I thought about taking today off from work 😁 but I’ve taken a lot of time off the past few months and I want to have enough time for the West Virginia trip and some time to hunt and hike in Madison County come November. Plus I’m not sure how wet Saturday into Sunday will be – maybe okay down here but not so good up north I’m thinking.

Definitely was a cool morning when I woke up at six o’clock 🤯 with the windows letting in that cold autumn air. It was chilly but much more pleasant than sleeping with the windows closed or really hot and humid summer weather.
