Been continuing my interview with Albany Historian John Wolcott. There is a lot that he’s forgotten but then again, a lot of my questions from the Erastus Corning days and his involvement in the Washington Park Spirit are from a half century ago. Reading Paul Grondahl’s Mayor Erastus Corning book though I’m learning a lot about Albany history and it’s helping me come up with better questions. It’s fascinating to try to tease out the actions of the Albany Power Brokers over the years.
