September 10, 2020 Night

Good evening! Partly cloudy and 68 degrees in Delmar, NY. πŸŒƒ There is a west-northwest breeze at 5 mph. πŸƒ. The dew point is 67 degrees. The skies will clear tomorrow around 4 am. Surprisingly muggy for what is a relatively mild night but truth be told the humidity is not expected to last.

I ended up working late into the evening after a long meeting downtown. πŸ’Ό I haven’t really been downtown since the pandemic and certainly not in the office 🏒 since then so it was kind of odd to see all those people on the street wearing masks 😷 to say nothing of the socially distant meeting around the big conference table with only a few participants, spread out six feet from each other. Parking πŸ…Ώ my big truck in the lot was a bitch, I’ll probably seriously consider taking the bus 🚍 next time downtown. The last time I rode the bus it seemed like the buses were very clean and empty but maybe things have changed now that backdoor boarding is no more.

I also went to Walmart to pick up more supplies and once again forgot laundry soap. πŸ‘š At some point I’ll get down to the store and then the laundromat and clean my clothes. I actually find I need more shirts now that I have so many Zoom Meetings lately and have to look nicer. πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’ΌπŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈMy evening walk was nice and pretty quiet.

I have what appears to be another lengthy Zoom meeting on Friday, πŸ“½οΈ which once again I’ll do from the park under that tree. It should be a nice place to do the meeting and the tree makes for a good background, the internet is fast πŸ’» and it’s quiet. Plus if I get bored I can watch the traffic in the distance. πŸš™ πŸš—πŸššπŸšŒ
