October 15, 2019 Night

Good evening! Clear and 43 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind.

Tonight seems a lot warmer than last night πŸŒƒ without the wind but the mercury is dropping fast. I listened to the radio πŸ“» for the Democratic Presidential Debate but quickly lost interest. Lots of moonlight this evening for sure. Sat out back for a while next to the heater and it was quite nice but I wish I was in the woods where I could have a fire. Maybe in two weeks if the weather is nice.

Not a bad day but a busy one at work. πŸ’Ό Getting caught up after vacation. I do like the regular nature of work, the schedule and taking the bus downtown. 🚍 It just gives me a set chance to sit, listen to music 🎢 and blog. πŸ“„

Tonight will be mostly clear πŸŒƒ, with a low of 39 degrees at 5am. Typical for tonight. Light southeast wind. In 2018, we had light rain in the evening, which became cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 36 degrees. The record low of 25 occurred back in 1978.

Tonight will have a Waning Gibbous Moon πŸŒ– with 90% illuminated. The moon will set at 9:40 am. The Last Quarter Moon is on Sunday night with heavy rain. The Beaver Moon 🌝 is on Monday, November 11th. The sun will rise at 7:08 am with the first light at 6:40 am, which is one minute and 11 seconds later than yesterday. πŸŒ„ Tonight will have 12 hours and 55 minutes of darkness, an increase of 2 minutes and 48 seconds over last night.

Tomorrow will rain, mainly after 4pm. 🌞 High of 64 degrees at 2pm. Four degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around October 6th. Maximum dew point of 52 at 6pm. πŸ–οΈ Southeast wind 6 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Later in the evening there could be more severe weather. β˜” A year ago, we had cloudy skies. The high last year was 56 degrees. The record high of 88 was set in 1947. There was a dusting of snow in 2009.❄

I think tomorrow night will be a wet and wild evening.πŸ’¦ Might be bad driving conditions tomorrow after dark. I’m not sure if I’m going to the Pine Bush Dinner 🍲 even after I said I was. I have to drive out to my parents house after work and don’t want to be driving in really bad weather. πŸš™

In four weeks on November 12 the sun will be setting at 4:36 pm (Standard Time),πŸŒ„ which is one hour, 37 minutes and 50 seconds earlier then tonight. In 2018 on that day, we had mostly cloudy and temperatures between 47 and 29 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 49 and 33 degrees. The record high of 68 degrees was set back in 1909.
