Good morning! Last Dusk After 7 PM πŸŒ† today! Four weeks to Halloween πŸŽƒ. Trick or meat πŸ–? Maybe if it’s a cheese fondue like in thirteen weeks.🍲 2020 promises to be a super shitty year for our country regardless how it turns out. But the New Years Eve fondue is good regardless.πŸŽ‰ Maybe I’ll be out camping, toasting away the second decade of the century.

Tonight I plan to do more packing for my trip and going through the dry goods cabinet πŸ₯«and getting things ready for the trip. I just want to have to wash my clothes πŸ‘š on Friday night and pack cold food 🍲 in the morning and leave before dawn if possible.

After seven years, and two laptops,Β my carrying bag has fallen apart. πŸ‘œ I am going to have to look at replacing it. I really like my shoulder bag, and while I have this bag that John Wolcott gave me — officially an insulated grocery bag — it’s padded and solid enough to carry my laptop, at least with a few extra sheets of cardboard to give it a bit more stability. After vacation, though I want to get a big laptop bag again — so I can carry both my laptop πŸ’» and my lunch to work in one bag and be able to toss it over my shoulder for walking down to the library. I might try to fix the zipper 🀐 but the bag is getting pretty beat up, being used daily for transport down to the library and back and forth to work.

In four weeks on October 31 the sun will be setting at 5:50 pm,πŸŒ„ which is 43 minutes and 59 seconds earlier then today. Gets dark early on Halloween πŸŽƒ, don’t hit trick and treaters, they can damage your bumper and radiator.
