June 12, 2019 Morning

Good morning! What day is it? Don’t ask a Ford guy, of course. 😻 Next Wednesday is Last Scheduled Day of Session πŸ›.Β Wishful thinking? Probably. But by the first weekend of summer, I’m relatively confident I’ll be able to get out of town. Sunny and 61 degrees here on Delaware Ave as I take the bus to work. 🌞 Calm wind. The dew point is 51 degrees. Not a half bad morning for sure. Feeling a little better today, but not great. The antihistamine I took seems to help, maybe it’s allergies.

Today will be sunny 🌞, with a high of 78 degrees at 3pm. One degree above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 14th. Maximum dew point of 51 at 9am. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 82 degrees. The record high of 95 was set in 2017.

The sun will set at 8:33 pm with dusk around 9:08 pm, which is 30 seconds later than yesterday. πŸŒ‡ At sunset, look for mostly clear skies πŸŒ„ and temperatures around 71 degrees. The dew point will be 48 degrees. There will be a south breeze at 8 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 16 minutes of daytime, an increase of 35 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be partly cloudy 🌀, with a low of 52 degrees at 5am. Four degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around June 1st. Maximum dew point of 48 at 8pm. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph. In 2018, we had cloudy skies in the evening, which became mostly clear by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 60 degrees. The record low of 38 occurred back in 1974.

On this day in 1967, the United States Supreme Court in Loving v. Virginia declares all U.S. state laws which prohibit interracial marriage to be unconstitutional. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Happening now 52 years ago, which helped to lead to the gay marriage decision many years later.

This do seem a bit more better for getting out of town work wise, β›ˆ but maybe not as good weather wise. But that’s fine, I have projects I can do around home. But hopefully the following weekend I can get out of town.

As previously noted, next Wednesday is Last Day of Session πŸ› when the sun will be setting at 8:36 pm with dusk at 9:11 pm. On that day in 2018, we had humid, mostly sunny and temperatures between 83 and 64 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 79 degrees. We hit a record high of 94 back in 1995.
