Nothing in nature binary, all things we precieve as categories in nature have been proscribed by mankind. This is because in physics everything is defined as references to other objects. References are measurable differences between dissimilar objects.

When man kind talks about categories what he or she is referring to average differences between referenced objects, rather than actual categories.
