Cut the right type of government spending

One of my biggest disappointments with the Trump administration is his unwillingness to cut federal spending and downsize the federal government, ✂allowing private citizens more freedom to go about their lives. He often talks about cutting spending but then adds more unnecessary and wasteful spending to defense🔒 and policing.🔫

Too much of government today has become about fear of the citizens by the government👺 and not enough about helping the average citizen👍. If we cut fear based spending on unreasonable amounts of security and defense and instead invested in arts,🎎 culture,🎑 public gathering spaces🌳🌲 and parks🍃 we could have a better society.
