February 4, 2016 Morning

Good morning! Happy Thursday. Tomorrow is Friday, in case you didn’t know. It is currently mostly cloudy and 44 degrees in Delmar. It is expected to clear later, and indeed you can see clearing to the south and east. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Maybe 50? A bit cooler with the breeze. West wind 7 to 14 mph.

I awoke to New England Public Radio and heard their forecast. The Pioneer Valley will be getting up to the mid 50s today but I don’t think the warmth will push quite this far north or west.

Sunset will be at 5:13 pm with twilight at 5:42 pm which is one minute and 19 seconds later then yesterday. I’ll almost be home tonight before twilight, assuming I get out at 5 pm. Tonight we will have a Waining Crescent Moon with 22% illuminated. It will rise at 4:00 am. Early risers be aware. The New Moon is on Monday.

There are 1 month, 23 days until Easter. Easter is the last week of March, leading many observers to conclude that the state budget will be late. I hope it doesn’t impact my plans for an April road trip.

In 2004, Facebook, a popular social media site, is founded by Mark Zuckerberg. I have heard about that site known as The Facebook. One of my friends in college got me started on it about a decade ago. How fast time goes.
