On His 150th Birthday, Why Are We Still Talking About Gifford Pinchot? .
August 11, 2015 update
Good morning on this very wet Tuesday. Heavy rain as we approach the 9 o’clock hour. I think the buses are running 15 minutes late but that doesn’t mean much because it only means they are running a bit early because they normally run at 20 minute intervals. I knew the schedule was off because I always check my phone before leaving.
Last night went down to park for a while, and hung out in the pavilion while the showers passed overhead. Got through another 50 pages of Gun Guys before it got too dark to read. Then I pulled out my laptop and finished up a new feature on my blog that makes it easier for me to share YouTube videos.
Got home and hung out with neighbors who were having a fire out back. It was a pretty good way to end and evening in the suburbs.
The rain is a good thing today as it was getting dried out and rain helps crops grow and keeps the fire danger low.
