Beautifully Laid Out

The North Creek Campground is really quite nice for a developed fee campground -- great tent pads and layouts for the sites, although I have to wonder if in wet weather they tend to get a bit flooded.

Nice Campsites At North Creek Campground

They are a little nuts about making sure everybody puts away their food and does no cooking after dark due to a totally irrational fear of bears, but I guess they have had a problem with it. $10 a night this year but of course the TRUMP is raising the fees to $15 a night next year. Still the sites are nice and not too far from the Blue Ridge Parkway, even if they are a bit bear crazy. I am sure there is dispersed camping somewhere around here, but they don't allow it on many of the local roads.
