My father, Dean McManus, grew up in the nearby town Macomb and we have property on the far southeast corner of the lake. Beautiful place to spend the summers and to learn to fish and hunt year-round. We traveled often from Rochester. I live in the Pacific NW now and haven’t been up there in a long time. I just read with some alarm about the fish kill in ’13. I haven’t been able to find much follow up on it, hope it’s rebounding.
