The Fairport Road cloverleaf is one of several that have been removed from the Rochester area highway system to reduce crashes π₯ and make room for additional development, ποΈ in this case the Monroe County Community College π.

The south-eastern part of Rochester has a fairly Hispanic community.

Empire Boulevard Cloverleaf
The Empire Boulevard Cloverleaf is another example of a cloverleaf that has been removed from the greater Rochester area in the recent years.
Rochester 1940
A much smaller city back then. Notice the Rochester Subway on the map - existed between the mid-1920s and 1956, a light rail system in the bed of the Erie Canal. Part of it became Interstate 490 through Rochester.
Downtown Rochester 1960
By 1960, significant progress had been made on the Rochester Interloop, also known as the moat encircling Downtown Rochester. Much of the interloop had been completed or was under construction, a configuration that remains largely intact to this day.
Rochester
By the time you get east to Rochester the Niagara Escarpment is not nearly as pronounced, although it certainly exists in the terrain when you look at a map.
