Severe Thunderstorm – Went Through an Out Traffic Light

It was tough driving last night with the heavy rain, lighting storm. I didn't see a traffic light was out until I drove right under it with all the road flares, headlights and flashing lights. I didn't exactly blow through it, but I should have stopped, had I seen what was coming up on this dark night.

A warm start to our day buy we expect the mercury to only climb about more degrees with dropping humidity.

Today will have a slight chance of rain after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high of 75 degrees at 11am. Five degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 62 at 6am. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. A year ago, we had rain, partly cloudy skies and a high of 70 degrees. The record high of 91 was set in 1989. There was a dusting of snow in 1976.
