Good evening! Clear and 52 degrees in North Syracuse. Calm wind. The dew point is 47 degrees. It was so warm only last week, and now the fall weather has come back. It was a pretty nice day, not too hot but quite nice. Got out of the office for a while and went for a walk up at Oneida Shores County Park up in Brewerton.

Another cool night tonight on tap. Look for clear skies, with a low of 45 degrees at 6am. Light and variable wind. Waxing Gibbous Moon tonight with 96% illuminated. The moon will set around 7:42 am. The Full “Corn” Moon will be tomorrow at 7:05 pm with partly cloudy skies expected.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high of 77 degrees at 3pm. Warmer, but with almost no humidity. Maximum dew point of 54 at 5pm. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. The sun will rise at 6:45 am with the first light at 6:17 am, which is 1 minutes and 6 seconds later then yesterday.

Looking ahead, First Day of Autumn is in 1 week, Last Recorded Day Above in 90 in Albany is in 3 weeks, First Day with Average High Below 60 is in 5 weeks and Thanksgiving is in 10 weeks.

Good morning! Happy Thursday. Mostly sunny and 52 degrees in North Syracuse. Beautiful blue skies with a calm wind. The dew point is 44 degrees. Today is going to be a nice one with some big blue skies above, followed by a clear and crisp night. While yesterday, I hit some strong winds heading out west, today I’m not expecting much in the way of breeze or wind.

Today will be sunny, with a high of 70 degrees at 3pm. Maximum dew point of 46 at 5pm. Clear and very dry. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. Throughout the day, I’ll be posting some pictures and videos of recent trips. I also have created some new maps to post. I should have some interesting new content up on the blog throughout the week, so keep checking back.
