Good evening. It’s 67 degrees and moderately sticky in Westerlo. Getting down to 54 degrees tonight. It looks like Monday will be mostly cloudy, and a chance of rain on Tuesday with Thunderstorms predicted in the morning.
This afternoon the water heater in my apartment failed. This time the catch basin worked, so it didn’t overflow through the ceiling and all of my closet which at the time had a lot of stuff on the floor.
I had originally hoped this afternoon to build a box to house my solar panel that I use when camping at my parents. But I spent it cleaning the closet in my apartment and picking up and putting away winter clothing. Maybe build the box sometime after the Memorial Day holiday, I will finally get around to cutting the wood and bolting it together. I could just buy my own tools and do it any night. Maybe that’s the way to go…hmm.
But it kind of changed my afternoon’s plans, spending it cleaning up my closet and doing some general organization across the apartment. It doesn’t have to be spotless for the landlord, but I figured some general cleaning would be good — because once summer gets underway and it’s really hot, I don’t expect to do much cleaning.
Spending my night camping out in the truck at my parents house. The nice perk with that is I have high-speed wifi there, unlike my relatively slow 3G phone that I have to use at home. I now have a USB port charger in the back of my truck, so I can listen to the phone all night and wake up to it in the morning.
