While the science update on climate change was interesting at the Albany Pine Bush Preserve was interesting, the my hour plus night hike without a flashlight was the best. One of the best times to visit the preserve is after dark on a nearly full moon on a winter night with the pitch pine showing their moon shadows. No even all that cool as there is no breeze so that moving you burn calories and feel warm.
