Good morning! Happy Thursday. Currently mostly cloudy and 57 degrees in Delmar. Breezy, 18 mph breeze from the northwest.

Partly sunny to mostly sunny but generally breezy and cool for today. We will be mostly sunny for the bulk of day, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. The normal high for today is 76, so it will be about normal for this time of year. The record high of 100 happened back in 1933.

Tonight the sun will set at 8:32 pm with dusk around 9:07 pm, which is 34 seconds later than yesterday. Today will have 15 hours and 15 minutes of daylight, an increase of 43 seconds over yesterday.

Mostly cloudy and cool for tonight. We will be Mostly clear, then becoming mostly cloudy toward daybreak, with a low around 46. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. The normal low for tonight is 55, so it will be about nine degrees below normal. The record low of 36 occured back in 1975.

On this day in 1972, severe rainfall causes a dam in the Black Hills of South Dakota to burst, creating a flood that kills 238 people and causes $160 million in damage.

Today is Thursday, which means that tomorrow is Friday. Looking forward to the weekend and getting out of town. Going to be cool and therefore relatively not humid one but that should help control the black flies. That said at this point things should be dying down as black fly season goes.
