June 9, 2016 Evening

Good afternoon! Currently partly cloudy and breezy and 63 degrees in Albany. Breezy, 23 mph breeze from the northwest. Certainly not the warmest afternoon ever, feels more like August then a week and a half until the first day of summer. With weather like this, you would think the leaves would start turning colors.

Traffic is pretty bad on Lark Street and Delaware Ave tonight. I didn’t get out of work early enough to catch the express bus home, so I’m taking the local and traffic is just not moving. I’m not sure what the problem is, because we aren’t anywhere near the Thursday night concert downtown.

Assuming that I ever get home, I will start packing for the weekend. I expect to be a surprisingly quiet weekend for work but I guess anything can change. I got to the kayak on the roof of my truck tonight and get grocery shopping. It would be nice to go down to the park but I don’t see that happening. I might go to the library though to pick up some library books and download maps to my phone.

This has been an incredibly long and aggravating week in many ways, But I’ll sure be happy to be in the Adirondacks by sometime tomorrow night. The campfire and stars will be nice. Traffic really is so bad tonight. Sometimes this happens though.
