June 5, 2016 Night

The rain has stopped for the evening with partial clearing, especially to the west. 65 degrees. Humid with a dew point around 64. Tonight’s low is expected to only be around 61.

Tomorrow is expected to be quite pleasant. Look for mostly sunny conditions, with a high near 81. West wind 8 to 14 mph. Dew point expected to drop to the mid 50s, so very comfortable.

The new Waze feature that beeps at you and flashes the speed limit at you when exceeding the speed limit is excellent. It is a great reminder to limit your speed and avoid accidentally getting speeding tickets. I wish they had more rural roads in it. I tried adding the 35 mph zone in Clarksville but I couldn’t because I’m not an experienced enough of a user to edit a main line highway. I did however add the speed limit for LaGrange Road.

Went out to my parents house for dinner. From the rain and their partially finished garage, they had to deal with some minor basement flooding. The tacos they made up for dinner was pretty good I have to say. Hopefully for their sake, the rain will hold off for the rest of the night.

Next weekend looking at camping at Mason Lake and Perkins Clearing area north of Speculator. I have good cell reception up there for work, so I’ll be able to get business done while camping or kayaking the Miami River.

I have a long week ahead of me but I hope to make the most of it.
