Good evening! Currently mostly cloudy and 73 degrees in Albany. There is a north-northeast breeze at 7 mph. The dew point is currently 47. Virginia is getting soaked but a high pressure is keeping most of the rain south of us.

Mostly clear and good weather for sleeping. Tonight’s low is 56, which is one degree below normal.Β North wind 3 to 6 mph. The record low of 44 occurred back in 1954.

Tonight we have a Waxing Gibbous Moon with 80% illuminated. The moon will set around 4:25 am. June’s Strawberry Moon is on Monday.

Tomorrow the sun will rise at 5:16 am with the first light at 4:41 am, which is 7 seconds later then today. For the first time, sun rises are starting to get later, although sunsets also will get layer for the next few days.

Sunny and a few degrees above normal for Friday.Β Β Looking at a high near 83, about four degrees above normal. North wind 5 to 7 mph. The record high of 94 happened back in 1994.

This weekend, for Saturday it will be a niceΒ 85 degrees with plenty of sun.Β Father’s Day will be even warmer, with a high around 87 degrees and plenty of sun. Not bad for the last weekend of spring-time. Summer starts on Monday.

Looking ahead,Β the Altamont Fair opens in 2 months, the State Fair Opens is in 10 weeks and Thanksgiving is in 23 weeks.
