Good morning, Suddenly it’s June! I am pretty sure that last week it was snowing and about 10 degrees. Today in contrast going to get up to 83 degrees under mostly sunny skies. That’s about 9 degrees above normal. The air won’t be quite as dry as yesterday as we are looking at a dew point around 57, but still not super humid, and a nice breeze to keep things pleasant.

The long range shows mostly sunny skies around 80 for Saturday with more clouds and an increasing chance of showers Sunday, with a high around 75. Not a perfect weekend but still pretty nice. I’m thinking about going to Hudson Islands State Park and doing some paddle in camping but I’ll first monitor the weather and see what my work schedule looks like.

Still looking at truck intertubes for float in lakes this summer, but it seems like a lot of places sell them on the internet. I had been some time looking at local retailers, but if I can get it in a little box and blow it up at home, it might be a lot easier then having to drive around to random places, figuring out where they are sold locally.

Should be another nice late spring day as we head through out first day of June …
