Good morning, Happy Friday. Not quite a Friday in endless summer, but we are getting closer. We are down to March, a month that seems to go by quickly.

A cold start to the morning because I turned down the heat to 49 or 50 degrees before bed, not realizing it would drop down to the single digits before day break. Not the below zero weather of recent but still cold enough that it took a while for the heat to kick back in.

That said the March sun helps warm things up quickly. It was 13 degrees walking down to the Park and Ride but with the sun and a few layers of clothes it did not feel so cold. No wind and a bright, fairly strong March sun makes the day less cold.

Next week it’s off to work an hour earlier than normal due to daylight savings time. I don’t mind as I like having the sun in the evening. Next Tuesday is expected to be 50 degrees – the first time since November. If I get out of work at a reasonable hour it will be pretty nice.

I was originally thinking of going somewhere exotic this weekend, possibly camping, snowshoeing or skiing — when the forecast was 40 degrees and sun. Now it looks like the high will be a blustery 34 degrees, with snow showers. Not great for heading out of town.

But that’s fine, I got to do my taxes and I’m continuing to work on revising my blog code. I am also continue to think about what I’m going to do about getting a spare tire or patch kit for my tires on my truck before summer comes.
