The curve that is famous for all the truck crashes In Cumberland, MD. They even have a wall to catch rolling over semi-trucks.
Lock 75
There is a remarkable amount of locks along the Cumberland and Ohio Canal. I can only imagine the staff needed to keep it running being a major cost of operations.

The notch gets quite narrow but they manage to get a rail line, a tow path and road in there, and some businesses in wider parts of the notch.

The amount of rail infrastructure remaining around Cumberland and this part of the Alleghenies is impressive, but then again, coal made a lot of it possible.
