September 29, 2016 Night

Good evening! Mostly cloudy and 57 degrees in North Syracuse. There is a east breeze at 7 mph. The dew point is 48 degrees. The skies will clear Tuesday around noontime.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 51 degrees at 6am. Six degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 48 at 10pm. East wind around 7 mph. The record low of 28 occurred back in 1991. Waning Crescent Moon tonight with 5% illuminated. The moon will rise around 5:26 am. The New Moon is on Saturday at 12:11 am with chance of showers expected. The Full β€œHarvest” Moon is on Sunday, October 16th at 4:23 am.

Heading to bed early tonight, asΒ I want to start getting up earlier before work so I have more time to walk,Β as with the earlier sunset, I don’t have much time for getting out for a walk in the evening. Mid-day during lunch time, I do try to take a stroll down Main Street in North Syracuse, which always is a pretty nice walk. Even though I’m not expecting much sun tomorrow, if the weather is nice, I think I will try hiking along the Erie Canalway for a bit. I am going to try to be up at 6:30 starting tomorrow and we will see how that goes heading forward.Β Early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Tomorrow will have a chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high of 63 degrees at 2pm. Three degrees below normal. Maximum dew point of 47 at 4pm. East wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. The record high of 88 was set in 1905. The sun will rise at 7:01 am with the first light at 6:32 am, which is 1 minutes and 8 seconds later then yesterday.

Looking ahead,Β First Day with Average High Below 60 is in 3 weeks, Thanksgiving is in 8 weeks and Square Dance Day is in 2 months.
