Today will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high of 77 degrees at 3pm. One degree above normal. Average temperatures seem to decrease quickly this time of year. Kind of an anti-climatic start to my Labor Day Weekend as I have to change my oil and do my wiring projects tomorrow morning. Then it’s off to backcountry tent camping on Saturday afternoon. While I have more cleaning to do next week before I leave town for work, the worse spots in the kitchen and bathroom are done. I don’t think the area around the knobs on my stove have been this clean in years.

I look forward to start making videos using my new dashboard camera in my truck. It will be all wired up by tomorrow. I haven’t used it yet, as I need to get a memory card, but once I have, I will leave it running all the time, except when I’m camping. This will keep a watchful eye over the truck and allow me to capture scenic videos that I will post to Youtube.

Going to get my hunting and trapping license at the DEC today. I don’t know how much time I’ll actually spend out in the woods hunting this weekend, but if I’m carrying in the woods, I figure I better have an up to date hunting license to avoid any confusion in the off chance I run into a game warden.
