December 7, 2015 evening

Good evening. Currently 39 degrees and cloudy in the city. Chilly with the wind whipping around. At least we aren’t dealing with the heavy fog this evening. Christmas lights are on downtown and the state Christmas tree is lit. 28 degrees for a low tonight. Sunrise tomorrow at 7:05 AM.

Busy day at work, spent a lot of time with spreadsheet crunching numbers and making pretty graphs. It made the day go by quickly. The weekend will hopefully come quickly then springtime. The latest weekend forecast is a split verdict but very warm.

Kind of a quiet anticlimactic evening tonight. Traffic grinds along on the way out of the city. We got a late start as traffic was slow on South Swan. Now it seems fairly light.

No tanker trains at the port tonight. Maybe they are just switching up the tankers. I’ve been wondering about the impact of low oil prices on the future of oil trains. Then again, I’m certain low oil prices can’t last forever. Climate change negotiations continue.
