Saturday at Thacher Park with Blackie 🚵

That’s the plan for today after the morning walk. Shower, finish cooking some brown rice and lentils up head out to the Nature Bus around 9:20, be to Thacher Park by 9:50. Then whatever until 6:20.

Good morning! Happy Saturday. A little cooler for the weekend! Mostly cloudy ⛅ and 68 degrees in Delmar for the morning walk 🚶 pm this Saturday morning. Calm wind. The dew point is 64 degrees. Not going to be a real nice weekend, the skies will clear Monday around 4 pm.

Lots of people out walking 🚶 and riding this morning but it’s already gotten hot and sticky. Hopefully it will be cooler when I get up to Thacher State Park 🏞 up on the hill. Otherwise I figure I can just relax on the hammock with a good book. 📖 No real plans for today besides just hanging out at Thacher Park. That and bake the bread I have rising today. Decided to do whole wheat bread with a kneaded recipe this time – still just the simple whole wheat, water, yeast and a bit of salt. Next week looks to be cool and may be an excellent week to use up a bunch of fresh and frozen vegetables in the freezer for soup. 🥣

The mornings and evenings are dark but it’s hot 🌇

Not so much heat and humidity at this hour but certainly later on. That said with the earlier sunsets and lower sun angle it cools off by evening but still rather sticky.

Good morning! What day is it? A dark start to the Hump Day, of course. Held off my morning walk for a while, because it was so dark. Fog 🌫 and 69 degrees in Delmar, NY for the morning walk in Delmar. Calm wind. The dew point is 67 degrees. The muggy weather ends next Tuesday around noontime. 😓 Summer arrived in September.

Out walking this morning, though I held off a bit before it got a brighter out. 🌇 In the mean time I was down in my kitchen kneading some quick-rise dough with baking powder to make a crust to use with the eggs, spinach, and tomatoes. 🍅 Mom brought over a big basket of tomatoes, which not wanting them to go bad, I took several of the paste tomatoes ran them through the food processor, added Italian spices and roasted red pepper a bit of salt, cooked them down in a frying pan 🥘 with onions, then fried up some eggs and put it on top with parmigiana cheese. Good breakfast. Wish I had made up more coffee rather then reheating what I have but time is getting late — and I’m drousey.

Going to ride Blackie to work again 🚵‍♀️ and then probably take the bus back home in the evening as it’s going to be another hot one. Burn some calories, save a buck thirty. It’s always nice going down to the gorge, and the Madison Avenue Hill isn’t that bad now I’ve done it a lot of times. 🚌 I figure in the evening, I’ll ride down to the old Union Station on Broadway, catch the express back home. It wouldn’t be pleasant paddling through the gorge, though neither will be the traffic riding on the bus this evening, but at least it will be air conditioned most likely and I’m not driving. 😅 🚗 🚙 🚕 🚌

Today will be sunny and hot ☀, with a high of 91 degrees at 3pm. 13 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 71 at 11am. Heat index values as high as 97. Yuck. The record low of 36 occurred back in 1962.

Last night I got home after taking the bus 🚍 had a quick dinner, ran down to the library 📚 and got the books I had on reserve, came home sat in bed next to the fan 🛏 read for a while and was asleep by nine. Tired and it was hot. I think this was the first really hot and humid day of the summer. In September, after Labor Day I know. Eat probably too much frozen mango and peaches but it made things nice and cool.

Unstable but slightly cooler weather for the weekend. ⛈️ Saturday, showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Maximum dew point of 69 at 11am. Typical average high for the weekend is 77 degrees.

This weekend, while not looking all that great, might still be good for heading out to Thacher Park on the Nature Bus 🚌 for a while and doing some biking 🚵‍♀️ and reading 📚 in the hammock, and enjoying things, assuming it’s not too wet. Certainly it’s easy and quick now with the more direct bus to Thacher Park and the bike. Plus it would be good to cut expenses at least this week, because it’s been an expensive few weeks with all the trips I’ve been doing plus the healthier food I’m putting into my body. 🍏 I wasn’t thrilled to hear that people expect gas prices to remain high all autumn — that said I”m still thinking about some kind of big autumn trip with lots of smaller ones, before snow flies. But if all else fails, there’s always Rensselearville State Forest for a weekend trip.

Looking ahead but maybe not forward to the darkness, are 3 weeks until More Night then Day 🌌 when the sun will be setting at 6:46 pm with dusk at 7:12 pm. On that day in 2022, we had partly cloudy, rain showers and temperatures between 68 and 50 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 70 degrees. We hit a record high of 89 back in 2017.

A pleasant evening last night before the rain later today. 🌧️

For the first time in a while I sat out back until late into the evening. After a hot day it was a very pleasant evening. Today is more cloudy and humid, a lot of rain is on tap for the next few days.

Good morning! Happy Sunday. Clouds and 70 degrees in Delmar for the morning walk out to Five. ☁ Calm wind. The dew point is 68 degrees. The skies will clear Tuesday around 2 am. But first, 4-6 inches of rain. ☔ Best to get my steps in early. 👣

Walking 🚶 out to Five Rivers Environmental Education Center which may be one of the last times in the near future. Bicycling will be so much quicker, even if I take the long way to avoid traffic and hills. This morning to change it up, heading out Fisher Boulevard and will walk back Delaware Ave, though that way is a bit more narrow. Already when the sun is out I’m feeling the humidity. 😰 Really dripping in that sweat.

Today will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm, then rain and thunderstorms likely between 2pm and 5pm, then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy 🌧, with a high of 81 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 23rd. Maximum dew point of 72 at 11am. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 80 degrees. The record high of 103 was set in 1936.

After I do my walk 🚶 I’ll probably cook up the chicken 🐔 for the week and lunch. Hot day for turning on the oven but I figure I’ll take a cold shower after cooking and then I’m heading out to the folks house in the evening which with the rain should give time for everything to cool down. 🍲 Home cooked chicken breast are so much healthier than the frozen ones and I can refreeze them. Also will toast the remaining chickpeas I have soaked. 🍘

Solar noon 🌞 is at 1:01 pm with sun having an altitude of 69.8° from the due south horizon (-1.1° vs. 6/21). The golden hour 🏅 starts at 7:53 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (295°). 📸 The sunset is in the west-northwest (302°) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:36 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 25 seconds with dusk around 9:09 pm, which is 25 seconds earlier than yesterday. 🌇 The best time to look at the stars is after 9:54 pm. At sunset, look for rain 🌧 and thunderstorms 🌩 and temperatures around 69 degrees. The dew point will be 69 degrees. There will be a west-northwest breeze at 6 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 11 minutes of daytime, a decrease of one minute and 8 seconds over yesterday.

Yesterday besides getting a bicycle 🚲 and going shopping 🛒 it was a very hot and humid kind of quiet day. Besides the morning walk around the park I ended going back to the town park 🏞 to watch the sun set and went to the library 📚 for a few hours to heat the heat. I thought about plinking down the seven or eight bucks to swim in the town park pool 🏊‍♂️ but being do hot and humid you never know when a thunderstorm ⛈ would come rolling through. One clap of thunder and the pool closes for a half hour. 💸 I tried making hummus and that was a disaster after buying expensive Tanani sauce. I paid good money for the ingredients, I’m going to have to try again. 😖

Tonight will rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then rain and thunderstorms between 8pm and 11pm, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 🌧 Low of 66 degrees at 12am. Four degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 70 at 6pm. 🏖️ West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies. It got down to 52 degrees. The record low of 47 occurred back in 1963.

Looking, next Sunday is Last Sunset After 8:30 PM 🌆 with dusk at 9:04 pm. On that day in 2022, we had a rather hot day, that was mostly sunny and temperatures between 88 and 60 degrees. Did I spend it at the Potholers? Yes. Typically, the high temperature is 84 degrees. We hit a record high of 97 back in 1900.

Double X

Happy Summer 2023! 🏖

A few more days until the latest sunset of the year. But by the weekend the heat, humidity and thunderstorms of summer will arrive.

Good morning! Partly cloudy and 57 degrees in Delmar for the morning walk. ⛅ Calm wind. The dew point is 55 degrees. The air quality index is 44. Summer arrives at 10:58 AM and the muggy weather starts at Friday around 11 am.

I think today will be an oatmeal with blueberries 🥣 kind of morning with cold black coffee ☕. Another session day and I’m running late though not as late as yesterday, as my colleagues in the Senate are posting pictures of vacation on Lake George.

But first let’s kick off summer. Today will be mostly sunny 🌞, with a high of 78 degrees at 4pm. Three degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 11th. Maximum dew point of 58 at 10am. Southeast wind 3 to 7 mph. A year ago, we had rain in the morning, remaining cloudy in the afternoon. The high last year was 70 degrees. The record high of 97 was set in 1938.

Donning my politician’s suit 🕴️I kicked off Tuesday although I didn’t end up catching a bus 🚍 until the late local. Making eggs for breakfast 🍳 followed by preparing a lunch and dinner and ironing my shirt and tie and showering I was running late. Plus I was in such a haze after the long weekend with memories of Piseco-Powley Road high on my brain 🧠.

Solar noon 🌞 is at 12:58 pm with sun having an altitude of 70.8° from the due south horizon – highest of the year. The golden hour 🏅 starts at 7:54 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (297°). 📸 The sunset is in the borthwest (304°) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:37 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 28 seconds with dusk around 9:11 pm, which is 14 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 At dusk you’ll see the Waxing Crescent 🌒 Moon in the west (277°) at an altitude of 25° from the horizon, 252,228 miles away. 🚀 The best time to look at the stars is after 9:58 pm. At sunset, look for mostly clear skies 🌄 and temperatures around 71 degrees. The dew point will be 55 degrees. There will be a southeast breeze at 7 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 22 minutes of daytime, an increase of one second over yesterday.

I left work around 6 o’clock last night but the bus was running almost a half hour late 🚍 so I didn’t get home until nearly seven. Rice, lentils, kale, mushrooms 🍄 for dinner last night with some hot sauce. Also some white beans I cooked up yesterday. I was kind of moving slowly yesterday, tired after the weekend that was but I did go down to the park 🏞 for a while for a walk and did 6.8 miles for the day. 👣

Tonight will be partly cloudy 🌌, with a low of 53 degrees at 6am. Six degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around June 1st. Maximum dew point of 56 at 9pm. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight. In 2022, we had light drizzle in the evening, which became mostly clear by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 61 degrees. The record low of 37 occurred back in 1940.

As is to be expected, humidity arrives with the summer. Clouds and thunderstorms with the mug-o-meter kicking up some oppressive numbers for the weekend. ⛈ Saturday, a chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Maximum dew point of 70 at 10am. Sunday, showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Maximum dew point of 70 at 1pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 82 degrees.

With summer starting to today, there are 2 weeks until Hottest Time of the Year 😅 when the sun will be setting at 8:37 pm with dusk at 9:10 pm. On that day in 2022, we had rain showers, humid, partly cloudy and temperatures between 74 and 65 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 84 degrees. We hit a record high of 99 back in 1919.

Roaring Brook

The first Friday in June 2023

Technically it’s a day too early to be listening to that song about Billy Jo McAllister but on the other side it feels such an appropriate song. Seems like so many so many conversations. I’m just looking forward to being able to wear daisies in my hair. 🌼

Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! Sunny and 64 degrees at the for the morning walk in Delmar. 🌞 There is a north-northwest breeze at 5 mph. 🍃. The dew point is 57 degrees. 🐮 The air tastes like grain and hay.

Last night wasn’t that warm 😰 though after getting my steps 👣 in and doing some leg and arm crunches I was feeling sweaty. 💪

I think I’m going to do eggs 🥚, spinach and beans for breakfast 🍳 this morning. I have that lunch today at work but first I want to make sure I have a stomach full of fiber so I limit how much of that inevitably high calorie restaurant food. Also trying to get in as many steps 👣 as possible in the morning in case this evening is very wet. I’m somewhat disappointed that I won’t be getting out of town this weekend.

Today will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Sunny 🌞, with a high of 88 degrees at 1pm. 12 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 60 at 9am. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. It was somewhat humid. The high last year was 78 degrees. The record high of 94 was set in 1895.

Going to be another ol hot summer day, 🏖 this day with a bit more humidity but still hardly oppressive. Right it’s super nice. Too bad it’s going to turn to rain and much cooler come this evening 🌃 into the weekend. I guess enjoy it while you still can thought it will be back for the work week from hell but then they’ll be gone for the summer. 👿 My thoughts are totally on the Potholers which I’ll be at in two weeks, God willing for the Juneteenth Weekend, which is my favorite holiday of the year.

I was hoping to walk down to the Park and Ride 🚏but breakfast took longer than expected 🗡 with all the chopping and then it seemed like the eggs weren’t cooked enough 🍳 so I had to put them back in broiler a bit longer. I did double check ☑ to make sure the oven is off before heading out. Ultimately I walked halfway to the Park and Ride and I’m thinking I’ll be closing in on 4 miles before I start work at nine. Worse comes to worse I’ll wear a rain coat for the evening walk 🚶.

Tonight will have showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. 🌧️ North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

It looks like National Gird is busy upgrading the lines by the High School 🚸 to add new power poles and electricity capacity to support more electric buses in the coming years. They cut the trees before Indiana bat 🦇 season and it looks like they have it marked out for the poles to be installed in the coming days. Electric buses are the future as are electric cars. It’s happening, finally now.

Then for Saturday, scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 70. 🌥 👉 ☀ North wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

I decided on Saturday I am going to browse used bicycles 🚲 to see what is available at a few local stores. I would kind of prefer a more road bike for commuting and longer distance travel then my hybrid bicycle. But I’m thinking I will continue my effort to restore my old bicycle maybe reaching out to Albany Bicycle Rescue for some help on the wheel. If I’m planning on doing a lot of bicycle commuting it might be best to have a back up after things break down as the inevitably will. 🛠

Then heading over to Colonie to visit John Wolcott and if the weather is decent take him out to the Crossings. 🏞 Then in the evening I plan to head over to the Albany Pine Bush 🦋 and stop at Market 32 in Guilderland for groceries. 🛒 Sunday go out and see the folks. 👪 And then the big final week ahead.

One week from now session should be wrapping up 🧑🏻‍💼 and I should be able to put away my poorly fitting dress clothes for a while as I figure out what my future looks like. I’m ready for some nice summer weekends in the Potholers. Sunset on that day is 8:33 pm with dusk at 9:06. I know it well, I’ve been staying up too late. 🌇 77 degrees is the normal high, it got up to 93 degrees back in 2011. Long range says 75 and sunny for next Friday but it’s certain to change.

May 14, 2023 7 AM Update

Happy Mothers Day! 🌷

As ol Merle Haggard would say, there are two kinds of Mothers. I’ve been called a mother before but I’ve not had any kids.

Good morning! Partly sunny and 43 degrees at the Cole Hill State Forest. 🌞 There is a north breeze at 9 mph. 🍃. Temperatures will drop below freezing at Thursday around 3 am. ☃️

Kind of a cold start to the morning 🥶 sleeping in the hammock. I wish I had brought more blankets but I survived. I wanted to go as minimally as possible and it gave me an excuse to get up and going at day break like I normally do.

Went for a nice walk to start the day, 🚶 roughly five miles after taking down camp. Hiked some of the Long Path and the trail around the swamp. Had a small fire 🔥 last night, nothing major as I was wilderness camping and it was breezy though the flip side was there was an established fire pit there. Next time I go up there I’ll make sure to bring a chair as sitting on the stone I stacked wasn’t all that comfortable. No bugs but by morning it was pretty cold.

Today will be mostly sunny 🌞, with a high of 59 degrees at 3pm. 12 degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around April 15th. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph. Going to be a cool day. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. It was somewhat humid. The high last year was 84 degrees. The record high of 93 was set in 1900.

The plan is to have a nice pan 🍳 of eggs 🥚 when I get home with lots of spinach and feta cheese and then get my clothes 👚 unpacked from the wash yesterday, go to the car wash 🚿, get groceries, top of the tank in my truck, ⛽ put the tire back on my truck 🛻 and then maybe in the evening 🌃 go for a walk. 🚶 Maybe just the town park or Five Rivers though I was thinking about Norman’s Kill Falls or maybe the Rail Trail to the Bender Mellon Preserve. 🍉

Solar noon 🌞 is at 12:54 pm with sun having an altitude of 66° from the due south horizon (-4.9° vs. 6/21). A six foot person will cast a 2.7 foot shadow today compared to 2.2 feet on the first day of summer. The golden hour 🏅 starts at 7:30 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (290°). 📸

I saw at the trailhead 📄 somebody left a note about the passing of Forest Ranger Tom Edmunds. He used to patrol Burnt Rossman State Forest but I only met him once. I think he got transfered to Vermontville in the Northern Adirondacks a few years back. 🏋️ Just another reminder how short life can be and why it’s important to eat healthy and exercise.

The sunset is in the west-northwest (297°) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:11 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 13 seconds with dusk around 8:42 pm, which is one minute and 4 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 The best time to look at the stars is after 9:23 pm. At sunset, look for mostly clear skies 🌄 and temperatures around 52 degrees. There will be a north-northwest breeze at 10 mph. Today will have 14 hours and 37 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 8 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be mostly clear 🌃, with a low of 39 degrees at 5am. Nine degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around April 21st. Northwest wind 8 to 10 mph. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies in the evening, which became partly cloudy by the early hours of the morning. It was humid. It got down to 64 degrees. The record low of 31 occurred back in 1977.

I’m going to keep that campsite ⛺ in mind for Memorial Day Weekend in case I decide to do a quick overnight. Probably stay to close to home that holiday weekend as it depends on how much work I have to do. Hammock Camping is easy especially for a quick overnight. Next weekend is the Lupine Festival 🦋 and the first week of June if it’s nice I’ll either do Schoharie or Charles Baker and truck camp, especially if I have my bicycle 🚲 up and running by then. Second week of June I’ll probably be exhausted from work but I want to go with dad to the Gas Up, third weekend is Juneteenth Weekend and want to do four or five days at Piseco-Powley, taking off the Friday before Juneteenth Weekend so I can get the House Pond Campsite and if it’s more than three nights go up to Powley Place on the Sunday / Monday night when I can enjoy it without neighbors.

Looking ahead, there are 4 weeks until the Gas Up ⛽ 🚜 when the sun will be setting at 8:35 pm with dusk at 9:08 pm. On that day in 2022, we had partly sunny and temperatures between 78 and 50 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 78 degrees. We hit a record high of 94 back in 1947.

 Reflection

May 11, 2023 Morning

Good morning! Happy Thursday.

The sun is rising and I’m out walking. It was dark last night by the time I returned home from Five Rivers. Thought I would do like ten miles but it ended up being a hair over nine.

Still feels a bit cool out this morning. Sunny and 49 degrees in Delmar, NY. 🌞 Calm wind. Then again do I really want to wake up and be Godsmacked by the humidity? Those days aren’t certainly far off. There is less than a month until the legislative session is done. I’m already thinking about heading up to the Potholers come the Juneteenth weekend.

Hazy this morning 🌆 still from the Canadian wild fires. With the more stagnant air expected to move in both Western NY, along Lake Ontario and Downstate will have air quality alerts ⚠ today. I wonder how long before electrification makes air quality alerts less common. Although who knows with the increasing wildfires.

I’m out of coffee in the pot ☕ this morning so I’ll have to make up some more. Going to reheat qieche I made last week and froze. Then I want to leave early enough to walk down to the Park and Ride to catch the express there. 🚏

Today will be sunny 🌞, with a high of 77 degrees at 3pm. Seven degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 5th. Maximum dew point of 46 at 6pm. Not very humid. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 82 degrees. The record high of 90 was set in 1911. 0.5 inches of snow fell back in 1907.❄

I have my repaired tire back and my suit jackets are getting dry cleaned. 🧑🏻‍💼 It’s a casual dress day at work and I expect to be done by five so I’ll take the express bus 🚍 both ways. Making a fresh pot of rice 🍚 up this morning and probably will have with salmon 🐠 later on then head to the park 🏞 to walk until dusk. I’ll put the tire back on Sunday after washing and lubrication.

Solar noon 🌞 is at 12:53 pm with sun having an altitude of 65.2° from the due south horizon (-5.6° vs. 6/21). A six foot person will cast a 2.8 foot shadow today compared to 2.2 feet on the first day of summer. The golden hour 🏅 starts at 7:26 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (289°). 📸 The sunset is in the west-northwest (296°) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:07 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 12 seconds with dusk around 8:38 pm, which is one minute and 5 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 The best time to look at the stars is after 9:18 pm. At sunset, look for mostly clear skies 🌄 and temperatures around 69 degrees. The dew point will be 49 degrees. There will be a west-northwest breeze at 6 mph. Today will have 14 hours and 31 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 14 seconds over yesterday.

The Nature Bus to Thacher Park returns in two weeks 🌲 during Memorial Day Weekend. No schedule yet but I expect that probably in the next few days it will be released. It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday that doesn’t cost anything.

Tonight will be partly cloudy 🌃 , with a low of 54 degrees at 3am. Seven degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical night around June 2nd. Maximum dew point of 49 at 8pm. West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the evening. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies. It got down to 44 degrees. The record low of 29 occurred back in 1969.

A picture perfect weekend on tap. 😎 Saturday, mostly sunny, with a high near 76. North wind 6 to 14 mph. Maximum dew point of 53 at 7am. Sunday, mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Maximum dew point of 36 at 9pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 71 degrees.

Pretty sure that Sunday I want to hike Blodgett Hill 🚶 for another twenty miler but I could change my mind. Going to be a nice weekend for sure. Saturday most certainly I’ll be working.

As previously noted, there are 3 weeks until 9 PM Dusk 🌆 when the sun will be setting at 8:27 pm with dusk at 9:00 pm. On that day in 2022, we had rain and temperatures between 69 and 60 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 76 degrees. We hit a record high of 94 back in 1918.
