Deep Pond Trail
Deep Pond Trail is located off of the Brooktrout Lake Trail in Moose River Plainss (technically West Canada Lake Wilderness), and is a three mile hike back from Idnain Lake Road.
Pharaoh Lake Trail

The Pharoah Lake Trail is 3 1/2 miles from Beaver Pond Road in Schroon over a gentle upslope, taking you back to the largest wilderness lake in the Adirondacks at 420 acres. One mile in, there is two designated campsites near the trailhead for Crab Pond Trail. The loop trail around the lake is roughly 5 miles.

Diamond Notch Trail – South Hunter Mountain
Another way up Hunter Mountain is via the Diamond Notch Trail to Devils Path to the South Hunter - Hunter Mountain connecting trail. I've never gone up this way, as it's pretty out of the way, but might be an interesting way to go up the mountain some day.
