Columbus Circle in NYC

Columbus Circle is a landmark traffic circle and public square located at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South, and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Positioned at the southwest corner of Central Park, it serves as the official point from which all highway distances from New York City are measured. 
 
Key Highlights
  • The Monument: A 76-foot marble monument featuring a statue of Christopher Columbus, created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo and erected in 1892. 
  • The Shops at Columbus Circle: A high-end shopping mall located inside the Deutsche Bank Center (formerly the Time Warner Center) featuring luxury retail, a Whole Foods Market, and Michelin-starred dining like Per Se.
