Columbus Circle is a landmark traffic circle and public square located at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South, and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Positioned at the southwest corner of Central Park, it serves as the official point from which all highway distances from New York City are measured.

The Monument: A 76-foot marble monument featuring a statue of Christopher Columbus, created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo and erected in 1892.
