You can add 7.7 years to your life -- nearly a 10% extension to your life -- by moving from Chemung County to Manhattan, assuming that statistics work like that, which they don't. Upstaters tend to be overweight, smoke a lot of cigarettes, inject a lot heroin and pain pills, and have long commutes in automobiles that often lead to fatal car crashes.
