Farm Fields Starting to Green Up
There are much more signs of some green coming back to hay fields after this long winter. It certainly wasn't so green three weeks ago when I last climbed Bennett Hill.

As late as the 1954 you could drive up to Pillsbury Lake
The lake was privately owned at the time with the main parking for Cedar Lakes in the forest preserve at the top of the hill.
