Horseheads vs Corning, a size comparison
Horseheads is certainly more sprawling than Corning, as the prior is kind of a suburb of Elmira. Corning is compact also due to geography and the rather narrow valley its situated in.

While ultimately I parked in this lot, it worried me for a few minutes, because it was a layer of ice from freezing rain, under the layer of 4 inches of snow. I was worried about getting stuck.
